    [Soldier]

Weep for your fallen soldier [it hurts to say goodbye]—

You don’t have to be strong anymore [so go ahead and cry].

He was just a baby [even if he was twenty years old].

He had a bright smile, little dimples…[and a heart made of gold].

A red, white, and blue flag [they lay it over his heart.]

Something in you broke, when he left that day…[now, you’re falling apart.]
